Paper Towns is a novel written by John Green, and was published on October 16, 2008, by Dutton Books. John Green drew inspiration from his experience and knowledge of "paper towns" during a road journey through South Dakota.

Paper Towns debuted at number five on the New York Times bestseller list for children's books and was awarded the 2009 Edgar Award for best young adult novel. A film adaptation was released on July 24, 2015. The film stars Nat Wolff as Quentin Jacobsen, Cara Delevingne as Margo Roth Spiegelman, Austin Abrams as Ben Starling, Halston Sage as Lacey Pemberton, and Justice Smith as Marcus "Radar" Lincoln.

The book follows the coming-of-age Quentin “Q” Jacobsen and his search for Margo Roth Spiegelman, his neighbor and childhood sweetheart.

Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs back into his life, dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge, he follows.

After their night of revenge ends and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues, and they’re for him He always thought that he loved Margo, so he started looking. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees of the girl he thought he knew.
